With a special interest for higher education and serving students, Blanca joined the VPGE team in 2011 as Educational Program and Events Coordinator and moved on to Assistant Director of Educational Programs and Finance. She currently serves as the Associate Director of Educational Programs and Operations where she strategically plans and implements educational programs and procedures. Blanca brings a unique blend of education and business experience to support VPGE’s mission in enhancing graduate education for students.

Blanca’s higher education career spans over 15 years and includes academic affairs, student affairs, operations, finance and human resources. She has an ethos of service, enjoys connecting and building community, and has a keen interest in supporting students from diverse backgrounds. Blanca has a BS and MA in Business Administration and MA in Education from the University of Phoenix.

Blanca spends a great deal of time with her family and friends. She is an avid runner and can be found jogging around the Farm and the Dish. A lifelong learner, one of her favorite quotes is by B.B. King: “The beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you.”
