Shannon is passionate about helping Stanford’s graduate students develop their professional competencies for academic and career success. She collaborates with colleagues at VPGE and across campus to address graduate students’ professional development needs—by means of a variety of educational programs such as Quick Bytes and Stanford Graduate Summer Institute.

Shannon has worked at Stanford Graduate School of Business on innovative programs in entrepreneurship and leadership, and also dove into the principles of teaching and learning as well as issues of educational equity as a bilingual Spanish elementary school teacher in Texas. She’s had the great privilege of living in–and learning from her time in!–Australia, France, Peru, and the U.S.

Shannon has an M.A. in Education from Stanford's Graduate School of Education and B.A.s in French and Latin American & Iberian Studies from the University of Richmond.
