The First Nations' Futures Institute focuses on building capacity in indigenous communities through a two-week leadership training held at Stanford each fall. The program consists of various lectures, presentations and dynamic learning experiences encompassing social, economic, environmental and cultural aspects. This all-day symposium caps the program and features panels of alumni fellows discussing topics such as indigenous institutions, progress and impacts of programs to date, and climate change effects on Alaska natives. Lunch and a reception are included, so please RSVP by November 6 if you plan to attend.
