Catherine Glaze, BA '80 JD '85 - Interim Title IX Coordinator and Director of Equity Investigations
Sophia Khan - Deputy Title IX Coordinator for Students & Equity and Title IX Investigator
In September 2017, Sophia joined Stanford as a Title IX Investigator and in March 2019 expanded on that role to become the Deputy Title IX Coordinator. Her primary duties include investigating and resolving student-related matters involving sexual violence, sexual harassment, stalking, relationship violence, and gender discrimination. She also assists with providing Title IX training to the Stanford community. Sophia is an attorney with extensive investigative experience. She previously served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, where she investigated and prosecuted a wide variety of felony crimes, including sexual assault and domestic violence cases.
Phung Truong - Deputy Title IX Coordinator for Staff and Postdoctoral Scholars
In August 2020 Phung joined the SHARE Title IX Office as Deputy Title IX Coordinator for Staff and Postdoctoal Scholars. Phung is also a Senior Director in Employee and Labor Relations with the University.
Amy Choi - Equity and Title IX Investigator
In April 2019, Amy joined Stanford as a Title IX Investigator. Her primary duties include investigating and resolving student-related matters that involve sexual misconduct, sexual assault, sexual harassment, stalking, relationship violence, gender discrimination, and retaliation. She is an attorney with extensive experience litigating and investigating cases involving sexual abuse, sexual harassment, and domestic violence. Amy practiced for many years as court-appointed counsel in Santa Clara County’s juvenile dependency court representing parents and children.
Miranda Tuttle - Title IX Outreach and Student Resources Manager
In August 2014, Miranda joined the Title IX Office as its Administrative Officer and in March 2017 transitioned to her current role as Outreach and Student Resources Manager. Her primary focus is supporting all Stanford students as they consider their resources and options, providing training to the community, and managing Title IX cases while ensuring compliance with Title IX policy in all student-related matters involving sexual assault, sexual misconduct, sexual harassment, stalking, relationship violence, and gender discrimination. Miranda is a 15+ year employee of Stanford, who previously worked in Undergraduate Advising and Research and the President and Provost Office.
Kari Gage - Title IX Hearing Coordinator
In February 2016, Kari Gage joined the Title IX Office as the Title IX Hearing Coordinator. Kari manages the hearing process set forth in Stanford’s Student Title IX Process. She ensures that the adjudication process is smooth and timely, and helps students understand their rights and responsibilities under it. Kari previously served in the Office of the General Counsel here at Stanford.
