Asha graduated from Smith College in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and Africana studies. While at Smith, she had the opportunity to examine the dynamics of intergroup relations, investigate a range of processes leading to prejudice, stereotypes, and discrimination of racial and sexual minorities.
She intends to earn a PhD in social psychology exploring her interests which are centered at the intersections of race, gender, well-being, and sense of belonging. As a member of the Behavioral Lab, she facilitates research projects for faculty and doctoral students in the organizational behavior and behavioral marketing fields.
