Deer Hollow Farm is a 160 year-old working homestead and educational center located in Rancho San Antonio Open Space Preserve. A one-mile walk from the main County parking lot leads to the historic 10-acre farm.
Hours of Operation
In compliance with COVID-19 public health orders, Deer Hollow farm is CLOSED. Updates will be posted as needed.
Picnic tables in the open air barn are open. Visitors must bring sanitizer to clean tables before and after use and pack out all trash. At least six feet social distance must be kept between people not from the same household.
Visitors are welcome to take a self-guided tour and learn about the history of the farm. The friendly farm animals, a volunteer supported garden and orchard are available for viewing during regular farm hours. Please note, the buildings and pens are closed to the general public. Visitors may also explore 24-miles of trails in the surrounding Rancho San Antonio Open Space Preserve.
Picnic tables are available at the north end of the Farm. Be prepared to remove all garbage as there are no garbage cans at the farm or preserve.
Farm programs are managed by the City of Mountain View Recreation Division, with additional funding from Midpen, Santa Clara County, the non-profit Friends of Deer Hollow Farm and from the Town of Los Altos Hills and the City of Cupertino.
