About

The Global Policy Internships, offered through FSI's Global Opportunities and Enrichment for Students (GOES) program, provides placement, mentorship and a stipend to students engaging in off-campus internships at international policy and international affairs organizations. The internships are open to Stanford students at all levels and from all departments.

This program is one of more than 550 Cardinal Quarter opportunities through which Stanford undergraduate students pursue a full-time summer or quarter-long public service experience with Stanford support.

Eligibility

Each host organization has specific requirements for their interns.

  • All applicants need to be Stanford students, and need to be matriculated through the quarter after their internship to be eligible.
  • Applicants may only apply to one Global Policy Internship. However, Brussels internships are offered in conjunction with The Europe Center and Stanford Global Studies, so students applying for the Brussels internships may also apply for one other FSI internship.

Please e-mail us if you have any questions: fsistudents@stanford.edu.

My time here has been invaluable, both professionally and personally. I’m incredibly grateful to [FSI] for giving me this tremendous experience...
