COVID-19 Vaccine Update

Stanford Children’s Health has several clinic locations throughout the Bay Area. MyChart users can schedule an appoint online. The clinics are available for children 12 to 17 years of age or OBGYN and fertility patients.

Please note, parental consent is part of the registration process or it may be provided via phone or video at the time of the appointment.

Stanford Children’s Health is following the CDC guidelines regarding booster vaccines. Boosters are not recommended for those under the age of 18 and those who received their series of doses less than six months ago. For a complete list of the criteria please read the CDC guidelines.

Other options for vaccination

Patients may have access to vaccine through resources beyond those offered by Stanford Health Care and Stanford Children’s Health. We encourage you to get vaccinated where convenient and in the most safe and timely manner possible. We will continue to update you as more vaccines are received and made available for distribution and will continue to partner with our local county health authorities to reach individuals who do not have access to primary care providers.

Billing

There is no out-of-pocket cost to our patients to receive the COVID-19 testing, treatment, or vaccination at Stanford Children’s Health. If you have any additional questions about COVID-19 billing, please call our Financial Counseling Team at (650) 736-2273.
