Health and Wellness

Stanford understands that health and wellness are closely tied to happiness and success. We urge students to take full advantage of the health and wellness resources we provide.

Wellness Matters

The Biosciences Wellness Matters Program, managed by the Office of Graduate Education, provides curriculum, programs, and support for initiatives that help to create an environment in which all graduate students can thrive.

School of Medicine student center

The fourth floor of the Li Ka Shing Center (LKSC) is open only to Biosciences and medical students. Featuring a view of the Stanford hills, our students have access to a fitness center, entertainment lounge, kitchenette, study rooms, computers and printers, and even a nap room. Many student meetings, formal and informal, happen here.
