IDEAL Dashboard

We are pleased to share the first iteration of the IDEAL dashboard, which shows the composition of the Stanford community from 2010 to the present. The data will be updated every year at the end of fall quarter.

For the first iteration, categories are limited to what information was available and consistent across all populations. We expect to improve and refine the dashboard over time.  For instance, we would like the data to reflect identities as people in our community experience them, including gender, intersectionality, and invisible differences.  Moreover, we have yet to disaggregate the data to the department level or to distinguish among different types of staff roles. Improving data collection and sharing, and expanding the categories we use to identify ourselves, are high priorities.  We hope you enjoy exploring the Stanford community through the dashboard. We welcome your suggestions on how to improve the presentation and content.
