Pediatric Oncology (Cancer)

U.S. News & World Report - CancerOur experienced team of pediatric oncologists provides patients with cutting-edge, compassionate care. From diagnostic evaluation and therapeutic management plans to extensive psychological and social support, including a clinic for long-term follow-up of pediatric cancer patients, we attack cancer from every angle.

Our pediatric cancer program is nationally ranked by U.S. News & World Report. We participate in the Children’s Oncology Group (COG), and all our patients are eligible for treatment protocols used by this national cooperative group. The vast majority of our patients choose to participate in one of our dozens of open clinical trials in areas like immunotherapy. In addition to offering several trials only available at Stanford, we also partner with groups like St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital to offer trials not available at other hospitals in Northern California.
