In the wake of a mass shooting by a military psychiatrist, the Army's top doctor acknowledged his service needs to improve how it manages medical officers, including using more candor in reviewing their officers' performance, but Lt. Gen. Eric Schoomaker, the Army surgeon general, told USA TODAY there's no evidence his staff "could have predicted" that Maj. Nidal Hasan, the man accused of killing 13 people at Fort Hood in Texas, "could have become a mass murderer."

In the 12 years that Hasan, an Army psychiatrist, was trained and promoted to major, he may not have been "an ideal clinician, not an ideal professional soldier," Schoomaker said, but, "I don't see anywhere in there, and no one has ever intimated that we should have been able to see from what we saw that this man would have become the alleged mass murderer that he is or is accused of being."

Last week, Defense Secretary Robert Gates released the findings of an independent review of the shooting conducted by former Army secretary Togo West and retired admiral Vern Clark. It recommends reviewing officer standards used by medical supervisors in Hasan's case -- "Some signs were clearly missed; others ignored," the review concludes, urging that officers who supervised Hasan be held accountable. Gates directed Army Secretary John McHugh to act on the recommendations.

Well, there you go. There's "no evidence" anyone could have predicted that Maj. Nidal Hasan could have become a mass murderer. The Army will do a formal review and produce an update to their standards.

And nowhere, in any of these reports are the words islam or jihad mentioned, but...

Hasan attended a radical mosque.
Hasan was communicating with a radical Imam tied to al-Qaeda.
Hasan expressed anti-US and pro-jihad sentiments to his colleagues.
Hasan identified himself as a "Soldier of allah."
Hasan sent money to Pakistan.
Hasan purchased weapons and ammunitions.
Hasan began wearing traditional Pakistani garb in the weeks before attack.
Hasan screamed "allahu akbar!" during his rampage.

The jihadists know they can never win on the battlefield, but they figure there's an excellent chance they can drag things out until Western civilization collapses in on itself and islam inherits by default.

Notice the reaction of just about every prominent Western leader after 9/11 was to visit a mosque, President Bush did, the prince of Wales did, the prime minister of the United Kingdom did, the prime minister of Canada did. The premier of Ontario didn't, and so 20 muslim community leaders had a big summit to denounce him for failing to visit a mosque.

We know it's not really a 'war on terror.' Nor is it, at heart, a war against islam, or even 'radical islam.' The muslim faith, whatever its merits for the believers, is a problematic business for the rest of us. There are many trouble spots around the world, but as a general rule, it's easy to make an educated guess at one of the participants: muslims vs. Jews in 'Palestine,' muslims vs. Hindus in Kashmir, muslims vs. Christians in Africa, muslims vs. Buddhists in Thailand, muslims vs. Russians in the Caucasus, muslims vs. backpacking tourists in Bali. Like the environmentalists, these guys think globally but act locally.

So the jihadists are for the most part doing no more than giving us a prod in the rear as we sleepwalk to the cliff. When I say 'sleepwalk,' it's not because we're a blasé culture. On the contrary, one of the clearest signs of our decline is the way we expend so much energy worrying about the wrong things...

Classic examples of dhimmitude...

Dhimmi mentality is becoming an ever increasing symptom of civilization on the brink. This fawning acceptance of islamic supremacy by Non-muslims with a sense of dread towards offending it has spread far and wide in the 'free' world. The dhimmi subjects are allowed to live and granted second class citizenship. Now the dhimmitude subjects have so internalized this inferior mindset that even being free they continue to revere islam at the cost of other faiths, traditions and cultures. Take Obama for instance, his recent overseas trips he has made it clear that national self-loathing and grovelling to islam will now be basic elements of American foreign policy. That's right, grovelling in subservience to an ideology that not only has enslaved entire populations, but is everywhere known for its cruel violation of basic human rights.
It is one thing to be diplomatic and seek to build bridges to other nations and worldviews. But it is quite another thing to playing down American and Judea-Christian strengths and playing up islamic depravities and weaknesses.
Bat Ye’or’s book Eurabia described the islamisation of Europe. Melanie Phillip’s, Londonistan chronicled the islamic take-over of the UK. We now need a similar book to describe how America seems to be slowly but surely heading down the same path.
Perhaps Americastan or Arabica or some such title can be used. Of course others have been trying to sound the alarm. Robert Spencer’s, Stealth Jihad is a very good start for this subject. But with B.O. now in office, there will be a whole lot more material that will need to be written.

I grieve to think how brief the dream of the human intellect has been. It has committed suicide. It has set itself steadfast towards comfort and ease, a wishful balanced society with security and permanency as its hope, it has attained its hopes to come to this...

Israel Follows International Law, Hamas Does Not...

If you want the support of the United Nations, most of the world, and the Western media, the formula is quite simple. All you have to do is as follows:

1. Start by having a founding document that has as its central purpose the perpetration of genocide.
2. Then attack your neighboring country by firing rockets at the civilian population, in violation of international law.
3. Hide your rockets and other terrorist equipment in homes and other location where there are many civilians, to maximize the death and injury count when lawful and necessary defensive measures are taken to neutralize your illegal activity, another violation of international law. When your own people are thus murdered by your own acts, you can use it for propaganda purposes.
You can be sure the Western media will run as many pictures of the dead and injured (for which you are responsible) in a fashion designed to generate sympathy for your position, and that same Western media will be largely uninterested in the civilian casualties caused in the neighboring country by your terrorism.
4. Exaggerate and lie at every opportunity to inflate the number of civilian casualties in your own land (for which you are responsible by hiding military facilities in civilian locations). That’s for the benefit of the Western media, which will of course publish and eat up any exaggeration or fabrication you care to pass along. Even if you have a long history of exaggerating and lying on such matters as civilian casualties, the Western media will continue to take your claims at face value.
5. When your neighbor responds to your illegal, genocidal attacks, appeal to the U.N. and world opinion for a cease-fire so you can rearm and get ready to slaughter and murder civilians in new ways and with greater ferocity, as soon as you want to end the cease-fire.
6. Instead of building your own economy and helping your own people, put all your resources into terrorist attacks against your neighbor and divert the humanitarian aid that flows into your land to your own program for genocide, aggression and terror.
7. When your economy turns sour — which it will do inevitably because your first priority is war and terror and not nation building, which is your last priority — and when it is further damaged by the measures of self-defense taken by your neighbor, claim there is a “humanitarian crisis” and a cease fire and more aid is urgently required.
8. Continue your endless attempts to slaughter and butcher civilians, including those of your neighbor and even those of your own people for propaganda purposes, and then claim any self-defense measures taken by your neighbor are “disproportionate.”
9. Continue to violate every international law on the books, making a mockery not only of law but also of the most basic precepts of humanity and civilization, and then claim your neighbor, who is compelled to act in self-defense, is committing “war crimes.”

By now, I’m sure you know this memo was a precise description of Hamas and its genocidal campaign against Israel, and the reaction of the United Nations, of much of world opinion and of the nations of the world, and of the Western media. To say what is happening is outrageous is a gross understatement, and stronger terms must be resorted to, such as an outbreak of international insanity. The town of Sderot sits on the front line of rocket attacks from Gaza. Since 2001, it's been a city under siege and nearly half the residents have fled. The distance from Gaza, the north end of Gaza to Sderot is just 800 metres to the industrial zone and one kilometre to the centre of town. So even the smallest of rockets, the 60mm rocket can land and has caused and killed innocent people. When Israel completely pulled out of Gaza in 2005, Israeli leaders believed it would bring peace, but Hamas and muslims in general will never accept peace with Israel, what has taken place is that there's been more rockets, four times as many. Just imagine rockets falling out of the sky every day and having to scurry for shelter as a siren goes off, only seconds to find shelter. Can you hear the screams for loved ones? The aftermath of having discovered where the rocket landed? The years of everyday trauma Sderot has been living through is beyond belief. Years of daily rocket attacks flippantly disregarded by media outlets around the world, a community living in torment finally reaches its breaking point and after a week of 'justified' retaliation the muslim hordes and media cry foul ball. The media is the propaganda wing of islam who have enabled this degradation, this vile and depraved silence, the do nothing so evil triumphs and spreads across the globe, a pox on the media... The withdrawal should have brought calm, but 5,000 missiles and mortars have since rained down on Israel holding progress to ransom, choosing war over peace, destruction over development...

Police sources confirm that even as the terrorists were engaged in a fierce combat with NSG commandos, they were brutalizing their hostages before ending their terrifying ordeal. Choudary calls for apartheid...

Anjem Choudary called for apartheid in the UK just days after backing the killers in India. And his supporters threatened to unleash “blood on the streets”. Choudary, 41, spoke at a packed public meeting called “Not So Great Britain”. It was held at a council-owned arts centre in Southall, Middlesex, by islam4UK.com – a website he founded with banned hate preacher Omar Bakri Mohammad. He branded Britain “filthy”, accused children of being “prostitutes” and demanded Non-muslims wear signs like the Nazis forced on the Jews in WWII. Crazed Choudary said: “In Britain there are 230 rapes every day, that’s 10 per hour. Supermarkets are selling poles for little children so they can become prostitutes when they grow up. There’s no comparison between our way of life and theirs.
“In an islamic state, Non-muslims will have to wear a sign to show what they are – it should say Kaffir. We won’t discriminate on height, race or appearance but we will discriminate on faith.” Earlier, Bakri spoke via videophone from Lebanon. One of Choudary’s henchmen at islam4UK, which has close links to banned group al-Muhajiroun, warned: “You will know when the muslims have ignited an insurrection when there is blood on the streets of London and New York like there is blood on the streets of Fallujah and Mumbai.”

Out of about 167 terrorist organizations in the world, 164 are islamic. Out of 30 conflicts that are on-going in the world today, 28 are directly related to islam. A muslim judge in Pakistan rules in favour of a group of muslims who kidnapped and forcefully converted two Christian sisters to islam. The two girls aged 10 and 13 were kidnapped June 26th. The judge of the district of Muzaffargarh, Mian Muhammad Naeem ruled in favour of the criminals who kidnapped the children, stating that the Christian sisters “have converted in a legitimate manner to islam”. Because of this the children cannot go home to their family.
The girl’s conversion and supposed validity by the judge also invokes another key islamic law – death for apostasy. Should the girls go back to their family and continue with their Christian faith they would, according to islamic law, be imprisoned or executed.
This news from the land of the despot prophet is more than random muslim criminality, this depraved behavior of kidnapping children and converting them by force to islam is sanctioned by muslim standards and law. If the free world continues to contemplate sharia law then it will embolden the fanatics and this will one day happen in our own backyards...

Update: The struggle naturally continues. The father of the girls, Younis Masih, filed an appeal to the high court where a muslim lawyer Rashid Rehman pleaded his case. The court did not believe that the girls accepted islam by their own free will; therefore the girls were sent to a 'darul aman' in order to be relieved of pressure on the part of muslims. The girls will again appear in court on Aug. 4 and then the case will be decided according to the girls' statement...

August 20th; The custody battle remained inconclusive after a hearing today, judge Malek Saeed Ejaz of the Lahore High Court’s Multan Branch set the next hearing for September 9th. Details.

Update: Judge Malak Saeed Ejaz has given Aneela back to her family, because she is only 10 years old. Saba who is 13 years old as shown by official documents is declared over 16 years old thanks to 'expert testimony' and so her return to her parents is denied.

Dec. 18th. Judge Malik Saeed Ejaz places new financial and social pressure on the captors of Saba. He ordered the girl’s husband, Amjad Ali, to pay a dowry of 100,000 rupees (US$1,275) and allow her parents visitation rights, two actions required by Pakistani marriage protocol. Muslim immigrants admit their bias quite openly. An islamic mufti in Copenhagen sparked a political outcry after publicly declaring that women who refuse to wear head scarves are "asking for rape." The message is the same as that of Sheik Taj Din al-Hilali, who in 2006 outraged Australians by comparing un-veiled women to uncovered meat. The number of rapes committed by muslim immigrants in Western nations are so extremely high that it is difficult to view them only as random acts of individuals. It resembles warfare. Mohammad himself had forced sex (rape) with several of his slave girls/concubines. This is perfectly allowed, it's in the quran. It stands to reason, many of the muslims in the West view themselves as a conquering army and that Western women are simply war booty, it all makes perfect sense and is in full accordance with islamic law...

If we look at the West during the past thousand years, we have generally enjoyed an unusually high degree of freedom and power sharing. This has been the case more in some periods and countries than in others, but in the big scheme of things this remains true. However, although this arrangement has been good for our civilization as a whole, some of our elites apparently are jealous of the more authoritarian system in other cultures. They want to turn the West into a "normal," meaning more corrupt and less free, civilization, aided by the forces of globalization. We are witnessing rising nepotism, and perhaps those at the top desire this.

The political elites no longer believe in stupid things such as borders, cultures and national sovereignty. Islam upsets their world-view, so they ignore it and move on with their project of globalization, anyway. The most hardcore Leftists actively side with Islam because its hatred of the West and its concept of a global umma coincide with their own globalist outlook. Yes, I know that Socrates stated "I am not an Athenian or a Greek, but a citizen of the world," but I don't think he meant it quite as literally as Western elites do now. Socrates didn't have an entire village of Muslims transplanted to his street during the space of a single generation, and he didn't have his daughters or female relatives raped by Muslims in his own country.

Our traditional freedoms were the result of a specific culture, developed over centuries of hard struggles. Maybe other cultures have to go through similar struggles of their own to achieve this, and some will perhaps never be able to do so. We should protect our freedoms at home before we try to export them, and we should protect them by preserving the European-derived culture which created them.

Our enemies, internal and external, want to destroy the Western world because we represent liberty, and they want to destroy Britain in particular because it gave birth to the most powerful pro-liberty culture within the Western tradition. I hope the British can regain their strength and throw off their traitor class, but they need to do so soon. We cannot allow the greatest nation in human history to be destroyed by the planet's most barbaric cultures. The British people, like their Dutch, German, Italian, Spanish and Danish counterparts, have every right to desire self-determination and self-preservation, and limit or even completely halt immigration as they see fit to ensure this.
