Fitzgerald: Alienated? Of course

LONDON (Reuters) - A top British Muslim policeman has warned that any moves to "terror profile" airline passengers would create a new offence -- "traveling whilst Asian".

[…]

Such a move could spark outrage among Britain's Muslims but aviation experts said profiling was vital to break the gridlock at airports, in chaos since last week due to tightened security after police said they foiled an Islamist plot to bomb planes.

Former British police chief John Stevens said airport bottlenecks could be reduced by careful targeting, with "young Muslim men" a focus.

Metropolitan Police Chief Superintendent Ali Desai, one of Britain's top Muslim police officers, said of the plan: "What you are suggesting is that we should have a new offence in this country called 'traveling whilst Asian'."

"What we don't want to do is actually alienate the very communities who are going to help us catch terrorists" -- from this news item

This line of blague assumes that these "very communities" are not, by self-definition and deeply inculcated belief, already "alienated" from, or rather intensely hostile to, the non-Muslims within whose society, and whose legal and political institutions, these Muslims are forced to live. But even as they will not leave, but wait to inherit that society by degrees (the degrees determined by the rate of Da'wa and demographic conquest), they make demand after outrageous demand for changes to those institutions and to that society. Such changes will make them less like themselves, less like what they are supposed to be, and far more like what Muslims would have them be.

Meanwhile, even as they shout about the dangers of their "alienation," they do everything possible to increase their hostility to, their disloyalty to, the circumambient society and its people. They deliberately get their news from the propagandistic Al-Jazeera, which would be akin to people of German descent insisting on listening only to Radio Berlin and getting their worldview from it during World War II. They deliberately exploit, to the fullest, and through fraud beyond the fullest, every single material benefit offered by the welfare states of Western Europe, and in many cases supplement that with illegal activities that account for the disproportionate -- a word much in use recently -- Muslim representation in the prisons of England, France, Denmark, Holland, Germany, and Spain, four or five or ten times higher than the rate of non-Muslim incarceration.

And the real source of that "alienation" is the worldview of Islam. If the belief-system you have, or that has you, tells you at every turn that you are the "best of people," the only people that matter, and that you have a right and a duty to spread Islam, to remove all barriers that stand in the way of its spread (barriers, for example, such as the right to free speech -- which to Muslims means the intolerable right to mock Islam and Muhammad, in no way justified by the mocking of everything else), and to ensure that Islam dominates anywhere and everywhere Muslims rule, then of course you will be "alienated." If your belief-system suffuses your society, if every other phrase contains an allusion to the history or texts of Islam, and encourages among all those who live within, and accept or are tied to that Muslim worldview, Muslim arrogance, Muslim assumptions about non-Muslims, Muslim loyalty reserved for the umma al-islamiyya, which does not depend upon mosque attendance, of course you will be "alienated." You will always be. And if furthermore, your every encounter with the texts of Islam, or with the attitudes consistently displayed by those who have, even indirectly or at one remove, been exposed to those texts, but do not inwardly reject them (outward rejection, for the sake of getting along with a larger society of Infidels, is quite possible), then it would be amazing for you not to view the world as divided uncompromisingly between Believer and Infidel and the Lands where Islam rules (Dar al-Islam) and the Lands where Infidels rule (Dar al-Harb), though only for now, though not forever.

"Alienation" from British (French, German, Spanish, Belgian, Dutch, Swedish, Italian, Norwegian, American, Russian, Thai, Indian, Filipino) society? Of course. What else could a Believer feel, to the precise extent that he believes in, or shares the attitudes naturally arising from, Islam? It has nothing to do with what the Infidels do, and how much they try to appease -- as long as those Infidels remain Infidels, as long as they stand in the way, here and there, in one way or another, to the triumphal and inevitable spread of and future domination by Islam and Muslims.

"Alienation" from all that is non-Muslim? Thy name is Islam.

That some are "offended" by profiling is just too bad. Safety of many is worth more than a person's supposed humiliation at being profiled. Where is the "higher moral ground" in this picture?

Meanwhile, even as they shout about the dangers of their "alienation," they do everything possible to increase their hostility to, their disloyalty to, the circumambient society and its people.

TRUE TRUE TRUE. The more you identify the Muslims as instigator of violence and public misbehavior the louder they cry.

In Muslim neighborhoods, the crime rate has risen significantly. rapes are up, burglary is up, assaults are up, vandalism is up, and the Muslim youths are creating a great deal of hatred towards themselves.

It is time we address the Muslims not only by profiling but we should reward their misbehaviour and criminal convictions with deportation. NO jail time, just get them out out of the country.

Islam is gang warfare pure and simple.

Hugh-

You will feel alienated in any place where logical fallacies are normal, where fallacies of reason are the rule and not the exception. There are all kinds of reasons for feeling alienated.

On alienation: Don Stewart-Whyte, whose sister is a supermodel and whose father was a Tory adviser, was very much a part of British society before he was a muslim.

ONLY when he became a muslim did he become alienated from society.

To be a muslim IS to be alienated from society.

Do you think that the radical transformation of "reverts" is related to the fact that they have a lot of ground to cover to start balancing their "bad deeds" (committed before they converted) by completing "good deeds"? For some, is the lack of balance so overwhelming that they see the only way to heaven through martyrdom?

If my reasoning is correct, then home-grown "reverts" will probably consistently prove to be more of a risk than those that have been raised in the belief system.

Has anyone already done some analysis along these lines?

Islam was founded by the supreme egotist narcissist Muhammad. Thus Islam's ummah always only thinks of itself. They want to kick out the Jews of Israel. Send them back to Germany and Europe is what Amadinejad screams. Meanwhile Muslim pests live by the millions in the UK and all over Europe.

What kind of reaction would you get from an educated Muslim, an MD for example, if you said:
Europe and the United States will take all the Jews of Israel (5 million) so long as all Muslims leave Western nations. There must be at least 40 million Muslims in Europe, USA, Canada, Australia. My prediction is this "educated Muslim" would immediately come up with an illogical rant as to why this would be unfair. He has a great life in the West. He's going to take his family back the Muslim shithole that belched him forth?

My dad was attended to by a Pakistani neurologist last week in the hospital. The man was quick and smart but boy did I get a vibe that he was wound up like a spring. That he had an inner Jihadist

***** Yes 50% of Israelis are of Arabic origin, not from Israel. This also puts the lie to Amadinejad. Many Israelis are from Iran

Heather, 36, was once married to French tennis star Yannick Noah the black French tennis star. This super model wasn't happy with British men and her brother wasn't happy with Christianity. Both goof balls are alienated

Mohammedans are naturally born with an inferiority complex which is nurtured throughout their lives by the worship of death and submission. They feel alienated, because in the Western world our citizens are free to question them and their actions and to voice the truth. Naturally, to remove the feelings of alienation, they attempt to bring everyone else down to their level by means of the civil and legal tools available to them in our free society -- for example by filing libel suits through groups like CAIR and playing the role of victim in the news. These attempts at dhimmifying free people are working, and are the first step in using our democratic system against us and bring the world to submission. †

Doubtless a similar sense of alienation drives the online separatist instinct. Why share MySpace with all those non-believers when you can saddle-up at MuslimSpace? Much more congenial.

The Muslim Wikipedia is up and running too - though progress is a little slow:

http://www.openislampedia.org/wikis/en/index.php?title=Main_Page

Objectivity does not appear to be a priority.

The Times published a poll showing that 13% of British Muslims think that the bombers of July 7, 2005 are martyrs, and 7% agree that suicide attacks on civilians in the UK can be justified.

Mohammed is said to have said: "The Muslim is the brother of his fellow Muslim. So he should never oppress him or hand him over to his enemies."

Why did anyone ever think we were going to get much cooperation from the muslim community?

Would it be presumptuous to assume that some Western leaders and people in positions of authority have finally connected the dots? Have they filled in the blanks that conclusively reveal the nexus between muslim antipathy and the doctrine of islam? Do they understand, as Hugh as explicated in so many of his pedagogic essays, that even nominal or "moderate" muslims are potential radicals?

In a sense it appears that perhaps the veneer of official British obsequiousness towards muslims was merely a ploy to placate them, insofar as muslims can be placated. Maybe it was a smokescreen designed to encourage muslim complacency and triumphalism, and the assurance that further capitulations to their demands were imminent, while security agencies investgated and uncovered British terror cells.

I would like to believe that our governments know exactly what is going on in the minds of muslim colonists, and that they fully understand the impetus of islam. I think maybe the airline plot and its horrific implications opened some eyes, but I expect the BBC and other ultra-liberal media will spin this into another attack on islam before the week is out.

I won't celebrate yet, but I see a glimmer of hope. I will cling to that until islam's useful idiots, appeasers, and apologists snatch it away.

"There must be at least 40 million Muslims in Europe, USA, Canada, Australia."

Not half that.

They have a few choices here.

Stop the jihad.

Stop being outraged.

Stop traveling.

They don't realize if they stopped the jihad, it would stop them from being profiled and outraged. I've wondered if, by chance a moderate muslim were to have say, a leg blown off when a jihadist blew himself up, would he be angry? (His leg would have gone to paradise for 144 virgin legs) I'll bet he'd wish that someone had profiled.

Funnily enough not many senior policemen complained about alienating the Irish during the IRA's mainland campaign. Then there was definately an Offence of Traveling whilst Irish !!.

Maybe our senior policeman should stick to his non secular job of catching crimminals and leave the politics to those elected or resign and become a politician. Methinks he is doing the usual of being a professional muslim first and sucking up to his own instead of a professional policeman.
It calls into question his oath to serve and protect and uphold the peace with no bias or favour to any race , creed or otherwise.

Its about time these so called misusers of high office were reminded about their job description and stop meddling in Political correctness.

If the description fits Young , male , muslim or old . grey and female then thats how we profile ...do the job necessary to keep the law abiding safe and sound.
In my naievity I thought thats why we employed Policemen and security services.

To the best of my knowledge, when you convert to islam, all your sins (including murder) are wiped away and you start with a clean slate.

Dennisw: there are indications that Heather is pretty effed-up herself, quite apart from her weird wedding and break-up. This happened a couple of years ago:
Heather Stewart-Whyte - a former face of Gucci and one of Britain`s most successful models - was found by police in the high-class seaside resort of Deauville in Normandy.

There had been concerns for the 34-year-old model following a mysterious phone call made to her family in Suffolk by a French woman who had asked for money.

But a spokeswoman for the judicial police in Paris said there had been no ``kidnapping`` and Ms Stewart-Whyte was back in the French capital after being questioned by detectives.

She said the model had been staying in a house in Normandy under the ``protection`` of friends when the call was made to her family in Britain.

``It was not a kidnapping. In fact it seems there was a bit of a misunderstanding,`` she said.

``For some private reason she was in a house and was being protected by friends and one of the friends called her family and asked for money.

``But because the friend did not speak English the family did not understand exactly why the person was asking for money.

``I don`t really know the details behind that or the reason for the call but it was a private matter.``

She added that Ms Stewart-Whyte`s family had been reassured that she was safe and that there was no evidence of any kidnap or ransom demand.

The model agreed to be taken back by police to Paris where she was interviewed over the incident, but no charges have been brought.

``It is not under investigation by the police any more,`` she said.

Tory father or not, there is something pretty cracked about the whole brood.

The feeling of alienation is understandable: Moslems are living in a 7th century mindset while the 21st century goes about its business all around them. Of course there's going to be some cognitive dissonance and alienation is one potential reaction. But, as was stated on another thread, that's the problem of the Moslem community. There are other possible responses to the 7th-vs-21st century culture shock, responses that recognize the duty of the individual to accept responsibility for one's actions and not to perpetually shift blame like a balky three year old.

This from todays Daily Mail (UK). They are demanding Sharia Law for the UK now! Talk about crass insensitivity.

"Muslim leaders summoned to talks with the Government on tackling extremism in their midst called for public holidays to mark their religious festivals.

The Whitehall meeting was set up in response to last week's airline bomb plot discovery.

Communities Secretary Ruth Kelly had prepared an uncompromising message on the need to tackle dangerous radicalism.

But, in what she admitted were 'sharp' exchanges, some senior Muslim figures turned the tables yesterday and made a series of demands which also included the introduction of Sharia law for family matters.

Dr Syed Aziz Pasha, secretary general of the Union of Muslim Organisations of the UK and Ireland, said: 'We told her if you give us religious rights, we will be in a better position to convince young people that they are being treated equally along with other citizens.'

Dr Pasha said Miss Kelly had agreed to look at the proposals, though her spokesman insisted later that she did not favour any legal change which would give 'special treatment' for the Muslim community.

Some of the 30 moderate Muslim leaders at the meeting told Miss Kelly that important days in their two main religious festivals - Ramadan and Eid-ul-Adha - should be made public holidays for followers of the faith.

Sharia law, which is practised in large parts of the Middle East, should also be introduced in Britain, they argued. While it specifies stonings and amputations as routine punishments for crimes, Dr Pasha said he wanted it only for family affairs.

Under the law, a husband pays his wife a dowry on marriage, and money and assets are shared out between family members in specified amounts after someone dies.

'We are willing to co-operate but there should be a partnership,' Dr Pasha said.

'They should understand our problems then we will understand their problems.'

A recent poll suggested that a third of British Muslims would rather live under Sharia law, while a similar number said they also hope Britain will one day become an Islamic state. But Dr Pasha claimed the legal changes he proposed would help convince young Muslims to integrate better into British society.

The Union of Muslim Organisations of the UK and Ireland claims to be a widely representative umbrella group. However, it does not include more influential and high-profile bodies such as the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB). Inayat Bunglawala, spokesman for the MCB, also attended the meeting but distanced his group from the calls for Sharia law.

He said: 'We believe one legal code should apply for all citizens of the UK. There is no place for multiple legal systems for people of different religious or ethnic backgrounds.

'If people object to a certain law they should campaign peacefully and democratically for a change - but only so that it applies to all people, not just Muslims.' The Government has accused Muslim leaders of a 'dreadful misjudgment' for claiming its foreign policy has fuelled the threat of extremism. An open letter, signed by three Muslim MPs, three peers and 38 community groups, said the 'debacle' of Iraq, combined with the recent failure to do more to bring about an immediate end to the Middle East conflict, had encouraged extremists who threaten Britain.

Three hours of talks

After more than three hours of talks with the senior Muslims, Miss Kelly insisted foreign policy in Iraq and the Middle East was not the 'root cause' of fundamentalism.

But she acknowledged there were 'different views' over aspects of Government policy and there had been a series of 'sharp and challenging exchanges'.

'There is a battle of hearts and minds to be won within the Muslim community, working with the Muslim community to take on the terrorist and extremist elements that are sometimes found within it, not just in the Muslim community, but elsewhere as well.'

Muslims must feel that if there was frustration on particular issue, there were ' democratic channels for that to be vented', she added. 'What I do accept is that there is a lot of anger and frustration out there in the community that needs to be properly expressed and vented through the democratic process.'

Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott and Communities Minister Meg Munn also attended the meeting. Moves being discussed include 'de-radicalisation forums' to help young Muslims engage with Government policy, improved spiritual guidance for Muslim university students and support for training of imams. Haras Rafiq, of the Sufi Muslim Council, said: 'The first thing that we need to do as a community is admit there is a problem.

'It is like being an alcoholic - we need to stand up and say these things and have an open and honest debate.'

Kharshid Ahmed, chairman of the British Muslim Forum, said: 'We believe that the threat is still external - it is people coming from outside and leading the radicalisation.

'We need to deal with that before people inside our communities are leading the radicalisation.'

There are currently eight permanent bank and public holidays in Britain. Three fall on religious days - Christmas Day, Good Friday and Easter Monday. The latter two are common law holidays - not specified by law as bank holidays as they were traditionally days of rest and to go to Church.

The other bank holidays were made law in 1871, to give their workers time off - causing other businesses dependent on the banks to follow suit".

Lionheart's report above should be an official Dhimmi Watch posting, showing clearly the implied attempt at extortion by Muslim representatives:

Dr Syed Aziz Pasha, secretary general of the Union of Muslim Organisations of the UK and Ireland [told Communities Secretary Ruth Kelly at a recent Whitehall meeting convened in response to the recent terror plot]: 'We told her if you give us religious rights, we will be in a better position to convince young people that they are being treated equally along with other citizens.'

In effect, this is asking for increments of Sharia in the UK in order to prevent future terror attacks. I.e., this is Jihad.

"Dr Syed Aziz Pasha, secretary general of the Union of Muslim Organisations of the UK and Ireland, said: 'We told her if you give us religious rights, we will be in a better position to convince young people that they are being treated equally along with other citizens.'"

They already have full "religious rights", just like any other citizen of the United Kingdom, i.e. the freedom to practise their religion freely so long as it does not conflict with the laws of the realm. But of course they want other rights which would conflict with our laws -- polygamy, wife-beating and worse. They are already "treated equally" -- what they want is the Orwellian "some are more equal than others". Does any Muslim state give such rights to Christians, Jews and others? I'm glad there were said to be sharp exchanges between these people and the Minister -- let's hope the government doesn't wobble.

Airplanes and flight are infidel inventions, muslims should stay on the ground. (Like muhammad, except for winged mules)

Shahid Malik, a prominent Muslim Labour MP accuses his community of being in denial about terrorism and preoccupied with repeating conspiracy theories instead of working to isolate and expose extremists from within.
He said...many in Britain's Muslim community are “immersed in the victim narrative.”
He said the influential Muslim Council of Britain excels at its advocacy role, but has failed to address the challenge of identifying and isolating the community's extremists.
“We have to create a zero-tolerance attitude to views that are unacceptable in a decent society, to say that the bombers are not martyrs going to heaven but sinners going to hell,”

He hits the mark here - It is absurd to suggest the "extremists" are conducting their business without some knowledge of those around them. However, by not policing themselves - and by their nature it seems unlikely they ever will - the communities that a) hide/support the terrorists, or b) those that stay silent, are in fact condoning their actions, which makes them full partners. As a group, they are willingly choosing to undermine and double-cross our free society. What is the solution? When will our leaders step up and expunge this cancer?

Poor muslims. They're not even allowed to kill the infidel. It's so unfair..
