All were equipped with a special tip that ensured they would not hit civilians, of course. (Notice that in reality they were fired in scattershot fashion, hitting Bedouin Arabs and landing in Syrian territory.)
"Six killed as 400 rockets pound North," from Haaretz:
Nearly 400 rockets were fired at the north over the weekend, killing six people. This brings to 33 the number of Israeli civilians killed since the fighting in the north began on July 12.Hezbollah fired 170 Katyushas across northern Israel yesterday. A barrage of 130 rockets landed between 4 P.M. and 5 P.M. Fadiya Juma'a, 60, and her daughters Sultana, 31, and Samira, 33, were killed when their home in the Bedouin village of Arab Aramshe absorbed a direct hit.
Kiryat Shmona was hit by about 30 rockets at the same time, which damaged a factory in the city. Safed, Maghar, Nahariya, Ma'alot, Shlomi, Rosh Hanikra and Acre were also hit. Some home and infrastructure damage was reported.
Eleven rockets landed in the suburban Krayot area of Haifa. Frida Kellner, 87, of Kiryat Ata, had a heart attack after she returned home from a bomb shelter and died on the way to hospital. Six people were lightly injured by shrapnel and about a dozen were treated for shock. One rocket in the barrage hit an apartment block, causing a fire. A local fire station also sustained some damage when a rocket landed nearby.
Rockets were fired at the Golan Heights yesterday afternoon but landed in Syrian territory. On Friday rockets fired at the Golan landed in Quneitra, on the Syrian side of the border.
Rockets also fell in the Safed area and in the Western Galilee yesterday.
There are two media stories.
One, Israel is losing to Hizballah. As a result Hizballah is gaining popularity.
Two, Israel is acting disproportionately to Hizballah. As a result Hizballah is gaining popularity.
The only thing to conclude from the wire services is that their writers like Hizballah.
Here's a classic irony , while Canadian media reports that 15,000 Lebanese Peace marchers filled the street in Montreal , Lebanon has officially rejected the U.N. Cease-fire Draft .
There is also a troubling pattern in this protest, note the part of the story from CTV.ca
where 'Children ' are used as shield and are forced to carry hateful signs get indoctrined with perceiving Canada's Leader as a War-Criminal
supporting the death of Muslims.
Truely a sick bunch of bastards, if these people love their homeland so much then by all means feel free to go back and join the Jihad so we can at least prove you support Hezbollah and are not a "Refugee" that fled to canada because of our Peace and Freedom.

Protesters are upset about the growing death toll of civilians in Lebanon. Many protesters were from Montreal's 200,000-strong Lebanese community.
The spotlight was on Prime Minister Stephen Harper, as ADULTS FOLLOWING CHILDREN carrying Lebanese flags accused Harper of being an accomplice to Israeli "assassinations."

The whole piece of journalistic tripe can be read here...

It's so odd that when these sorry assed losers were caught in Lebanon they claimed to be Canadian as to leave the Hezbollah suckers behind, but now that they're in Canada they lay claim to being Lebanese and are upset over a conflict they did nothing to stop from growing
into a unofficial 2-State Nation with Islamists running the Southern portion of it. .
The perfect example of the gutless weasel
Muslim that wants other people to die for their freedom , and a telling example of accepted child-abuse while is against the U.N. Charter of Rights for Children to be raised free of Psychological harm .
I think most real Canadians are pleased with the backbone of Harper. the part time Leb.who claim to be Cdn when convient can go back home and take their hatred with them.
In my TV, the dashing combat announcer dude holding a mike informed me that Hizbullah is popular cuz of all the services they provide. Medicine, water, food, shelter, probably dental hygiene and even day care.
Three egregious implications lurk inside this oft repeated agitprop piece:
1) That Hizbullah is providing these things (the Islamic Republic of Iran is)
2) That, in comparison to the Lebanese "government," Hizbullah is less corrupt or maybe not at all corrupt (both are Moslem; both are inherently corrupt)
3) That the Moslima in the TV interview who spat out "God bless Hizbullah" feels this way cuz of the free food & water (it's the Koran and Sunnah, stupid)
As the CIA understood long ago, agitprop is formulaic, where:
false assumption
+
selective subject framing
+
lexical manipulation
+
emotive presentation
+
false facts
+
ignored facts
+
policed opinion
x
1,000,000,000 broadcast repetitions

Fictive Reality
I've heard talk for the last few weeks--and now it's in print on YNET--of Israeli's buying/renting "refuge" flats on Cypress. I cannot blame anybody for doing this; I'm not in their shoes. Meanwhile tonight, Shimon P, Ehud Olmert and Peretz wait for Godot . . . I mean the UN to save the day.
Can somebody please tell me why the embassy's of Iran and Syria in Lebanon are "off limits." Or the airport in Syria??
As Hezbollah escalates each day, crossing red lines, inching up to Tel Aviv, Olmert cringes at the map of Lebanon in front of him. Should he approve an operation up to the Litani? Should he just continue to "react" to each attack? Does he cringe at world opinion? Or does he cringe too damm much???
Surely this cannot last for more than a few days, weeks, months???? If I hear an Israeli spokesman say how carefull Israel is about bombing targets, how they warn "civilians" to flee, how they pepper an area to be bombed with leaflets one more time, I may puke.
Why not destroy Syria? Why not bomb the Iranian embassy? Why not expel the Shias south of the Litani? Why not detonate all of Israel's might over Tyre since the heavy rockets fire from there? What is there to lose???????? Public opinion???? The love of the world????? Respect of the Arabs?????? Hundreds of thousands of Israelis have moved to the south . . . but how far south is safe?
And what will a decimation of Israel as a country do? How will it inflame the Shia? How will it effect Jihad and Islam???
The issue is not the Israeli military; the issue is an inept, witless civilian leadership that knows as much about Islam and Jihad as my pug.
"Killing six people"... ?
Only yesterday 15 Israelis were killed....
WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE?
Hezbollah rockets hitting Syria, These killer wannabees can't hit their targets, now they can't even hit the country. Syria better put a lease on these thugs before Damascus starts experiencing unexpected fallout from the skies.
Israel is slowly putting a noose on these terrorists. They Israelies should not be forced to stop. THe fact that the Arab countries are crying foul indicates Israel is conducting an effective campaign. I believe the Lebonese government is in bed with the terrorists.
