Stanford Food Summit

The first Stanford Food Summit was held in the Fall of 2010 and demonstrated the breadth and depth of interest in Food issues across the 7 schools of the University (Medicine, Earth Sciences, Business, Humanities & Sciences, Law, Education, and Engineering). The target audience was primarily academics. The second and third Summits opened up the target audience to include community-based food groups/organizations, and included presentations of pilot collaborative research projects in the areas of Hospital Food, Food Bank Food, Farm to School Food, and Food Policy.

Since then, this successful collaboration has continued to grow and the annual Food Summit regularly sells out.

The Food Summit team is planning another fantastic event this year. The 6th annual Food Summit will take place on October 28, 2015.  Save the date! Registration opens in August 2015.
