Capital Project Initiation and Funding

Requests for academic facilities and infrastructure capital projects fall under the purview of Land, Buildings and Real Estate (LBRE). Initiation of these capital projects are processed via the Form 1 System. Form 1 documents the specifics of the project including project manager and funding sources.

Projects involving new buildings, changes in land use, major exterior design changes or renovations over $10 million require additional approval from the Board of Trustees. These projects are reviewed under the aegis of the Committee on Land and Buildings.
