Spectrum Child Health Administered Awards & Grants Programs

Spectrum Child Health administers several funding programs to facilitate and support the best child-health focused research at Stanford. Spectrum Pilot Grants & SPARK

Spectrum provides pilot funding in a number of areas, with opportunities to apply for funding every one to two years. Pilot grants are administered by Spectrum under the guidance of Biodesign (medical devices), SPARK (drugs and diagnostics), and the Office of Community Health (Academic-Community partnerships).

Pediatric Research Fund Awards

Administered semi-annually, this program supports clinical and translational research in child health under four categories: Pilot Early-Career, New Ideas for mid to senior investigators, Bridge Funding, and Fellow and Postdoctoral Support. Total award up to $35,000.

Innovations in Patient Care

The Innovations in Patient Care is administered annually. The program supports innovative research focused on improved patient quality-of-care at LPCH. Total award up to $25,000.

LPCH Heart Center Research Program

Administered semi-annually, the Heart Center Research Program supports research conducted by the members of the LPCH Children's Heart Center. Sponsored by the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. Total award up to $50,000.
