Half-Century Fund
Hillel@Stanford stands at the intersection of an inspiring past and an innovative future, connecting history and modernity, tradition and innovation. We invite you to be part of this historic moment of commemoration, transformation, and celebration.
The Half-Century Fund includes three strategic priorities:
Jewish Life and Learning
.
With Torah at its unifying center and infused with Stanford’s incomparable spirit of innovation, we focus on igniting the spark within every Jewish student.
Israel
.
Hillel’s longstanding commitment to a democratic, Jewish State of Israel compels us to reach out across the campus to create initiatives and opportunities for dialogue among the many students
who arrive at Stanford with various levels of understanding of the complexities of the Middle East.
Innovation
.
Capitalizing on Stanford’s entrepreneurial spirit and our many ties to Silicon Valley as well as Israel’s Silicon Wadi, Hillel@Stanford is an incubator for new expressions of Jewish identity, meeting students where they are and facilitating next steps on their Jewish journeys.
