If you are a graduating senior or co-term with a deep commitment to public service, consider applying for a postgraduate fellowship. Postgraduate fellowships fund a full-time, mentored experience in an organization with a mission to serve the public good. Successful applicants have excellent academic and leadership records and highly developed civic leadership competencies. All academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Selected fellows serve as ambassadors of Stanford and the Haas Center to public and nonprofit agencies serving domestic and international needs. You must be a graduating senior or co-term in the current academic year to be eligible for these awards (Note: the Huang Teaching Fellowship accepts graduate student and alumni applicants.) Please note that graduating seniors are also eligible for some undergraduate fellowships.

You may apply for more than one postgraduate fellowship program if you are able to articulate a compelling and distinct reason why each program fits your goals and future plans. The applications must be customized accordingly, i.e., do not submit essentially identical applications for different opportunities. You may be a finalist for multiple fellowships but must be prepared to choose one. Fellowships may not be combined with other awards and employment (including Haas Summer Fellowships) and may not be used to support or start organizations.

Please note that Haas Center staff do not necessarily have direct experience with, nor do we professionally endorse, partner organizations.

The Haas Center is committed to ensuring that its programs and services are accessible to individuals with disabilities.  If you need a disability-related accommodation or have questions about disability access related to fellowships, please contact 650-725-0326 (voice) or email disability.access@stanford.edu.
