Coterminal Students

Coterminal students enrolling for a fifth year

(including enrollment at other institutions) are not eligible for Stanford scholarship. You are considered a graduate student and may apply for graduate student loans to help meet your student budget. You may also seek funding directly through your department. To apply for graduate aid, review the Graduate Basics section of this site.

Coterminal students enrolling within 12 quarters

including enrollment at other institutions, may be eligible for Stanford scholarship if your bachelor’s degree has not been conferred. To be considered for undergraduate aid, you must complete the Applying for Aid process.
