Required: Messaging ID (formerly known as “Paging ID”)

A Messaging ID is a unique 5 to 10 digit numeric ID that is required for each user to use any of the messaging delivery method services (similar to a username or login ID). Once a Messaging ID is created, messaging delivery services can be added to the Messaging ID profile. Messaging ID Rates

Spok Mobile - SmartPaging Mobile App

Spok Mobile SmartPaging App is the most reliable and secure method of receiving messages of the current messaging delivery services. Spok Mobile is available for iOS and Android operating systems and enables users to send HIPAA compliant secure two-way messages (including photos and videos).  Spok Mobile utilizes WiFi and Cellular connections to send/receive messages, providing increased reliability. Email Paging

Email Paging allows users to receive their pages and messages to an email address. Email Paging Rates  

SMS Paging

SMS Paging allows users to receive their pages and messages to their text message enabled cellphone. Messages received through SMS are not secure, so SMS Paging is strongly discouraged. SMS Paging Rates

Physical Pager Paging – USA Mobility

USA Mobility is a 3rd party paging service carrier with California statewide coverage for receiving pages via physical pagers. USA Mobility service is based on radio frequency technology. Please be advised that the reliability is not as good as Spok Mobile SmartPaging App. USA Mobility service is not brokered through IT Services, service billing and support are provided through USA Mobility directly. Physical Pager Paging – SBAN

SBAN (Stanford Bay Area Network) is a legacy Stanford owned paging network, providing approximately 50 miles of Bay Area coverage for receiving pages via physical pagers.  SBAN service is based on radio frequency technology. Please be advised that the reliability is not as good as Spok Mobile SmartPaging App. SBAN Rates
