The Schwab Learning Center
The Schwab Learning Center (SLC) was established in 2001 through endowed funding by Charles and Helen Schwab. The SLC offers students with learning disabilities and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder a wide array of state-of-the-art services and resources to enrich the learning and research opportunities at Stanford.
Learning Disabilities & ADHD
The Schwab Learning Center focuses on serving Stanford University students who are identified as having a learning disability and/or ADHD. What are learning disabilities, though? And what is Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)?
Learning Strategies
Learning strategy sessions are for students diagnosed with a specific learning disability or ADHD. A student meets individually with a SLC Learning Specialist; strategies covered depend on the student's particular learning needs.
