The Biomedical Informatics (BMI) graduate program is an interdepartmental program that offers M.S. and Ph.D. degrees, both on campus and through distance learning. The BMI program has a separate administration that reports to the Stanford committee on graduate studies. BMIR supports the BMI program through its faculty’s participation in BMI core courses, mentoring of graduate students, and service to BMI committees.
BMIR offers a colloquium series that is open to the greater Stanford community.
BMIR faculty and staff regularly offer short courses to assist students and colleagues who wish to learn about the Protégé technology.
