Immunology and Immunotherapy of Cancer
Research Program
The Immunology and Immunotherapy of Cancer Program brings together the SCI's basic science and clinical translational strengths to provide further opportunities for synergy and collaboration. The development of exciting and comprehensive tools for analysis of immune responses including CyTOF and high throughput sequencing as well as novel immunological therapeutic interventions provide many new opportunities. The Program goals are:
- Explore the biological basis of the immune response in the context of cancer immunology.
- To utilize sophisticated novel methodologies to probe immune function and reconstitution.
- To translate novel concepts to the clinic to generate a more robust and effective immune response directed towards malignancies.
