Summer Express: A Mix and Match Camp Program for 6-13 years

Summer Express is a flexible summer enrichment program offering a variety of fun and challenging classes for elementary and middle school students. Summer Express classes are grouped into five categories: Academic; Arts (Music, Visual and Performing); Special Interest; Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM); and Sports and Fitness. Most classes are broken into two age groups: 6-9 years and 10-13 years. A few classes have different age requirements and are listed below in the class descriptions. Location: Sunnyvale Middle School
Time: 9 a.m. to 1:05 p.m.
Ages: 6-13 years
 
Fees: (determined per class)
1 hour classes: $85 (resident)/$106 (non-resident)
2 hour classes: $170 (resident)/$213 (non-resident)

Days: Monday through Friday
Session 1: June 20 to July 1, 2016
Session 2: July 6 to July 17, 2016 (no class July 4, 2016)

Use the 2016 Summer Express Schedule below to create your child's individualized schedule. Choose your session(s), and then select one class for each period. Note: Pottery, Drama Club and Let's Get Cooking are two-hour classes, covering two periods.

Extend your Day with Club X (6-13 years)

Fun Supervised Morning and Afternoon Activities

Club X morning and afternoon activities are great for families looking for a full day of activities. Participation in Summer Express is not required. All activities are supervised. Campers may choose from a variety of activities, including games and arts and crafts. Afternoon Club X includes a swim day, typically on Thursdays. Light snack provided. Campers should bring a daily lunch, bottled water and sunscreen.

Summer Express Registration Information and Transfter/Refund Policy

Early Registration

  • Session 1: Before June 16, 2016 at the Community Center in person, online or by fax or phone.
  • Session 2: Before June 30, 2016 at the Community Center in person, online or by fax or phone.

 

Late Registration

  • Session 1: After June 16, 2016 all registrations must be done in person at Sunnyvale Middle School from 10 a.m. - noon.
  • Session 2: After June 30, 2016 all registration must be done in person at Sunnyvale Middle School from 10 a.m. - noon. Please note that the office will be closed on July 4, 2016.

 

Transfer Policy

  • Transfers will be allowed for both sessions before June 16, 2016 with a $5 processing fee.
  • Transfers can only be made through the second day of class at Sunnyvale Middle School, with a $5 processing fee. No transfers will be done after the second class meeting.
       

Refund Policy

  • Refunds for Summer Express must be received at least four weeks before the first day of the session.
