Major Activities

EH&S works in partnership with faculty, researchers, staff and students to promote safe and healthful laboratory environments that will support the University's science and research mission. Guidelines and resources for a variety of laboratory activities can be found on their website.

EH&S offers a variety of programs & services to ensure that we all have a safe place to learn, live and work. In this section you will find information on everything from preparing for an earthquake to setting up your computer workstation; from what to pour on a fire to what not to pour down the drain.

Numerous health, safety, and environmental issues must be addressed as a result of undertaking maintenance and construction activities. If you are planning or involved in a renovation or construction project, large or small, contact EH&S.
