Goals

Stanford University's global health programs within The Center for Innovation in Global Health are dedicated to understanding and reducing health disparities and strengthening human capital both in our local communities and worldwide.

By engaging Stanford's multidisciplinary strengths in innovative technology design, integrative patient and population research and education, the Center strives to create an ethos of service for low resource communities in the US and worldwide.

Women discuss the lesson in a small group. Nuru International is training them to become community health workers and provide basic medical care at the household level in rural Kenya.
