The primary purpose of the ADC is as a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Site.
Clients are responsible for having a proactive emergency plan in place to protect the safety of their personnel and the continuity of their programs. This includes a back-up plan for supporting and maintaining their system hardware in the event of an emergency.
In the event of an emergency, IT Services staff at the direction of the University's Emergency Operations Center (EOC) will assume the following priorities;
- Protecting lives
- Securing critical infrastructure and facilities
- Resumation of services which support teaching, learning, and research
