The Yellow Ribbon Provision

Stanford is committed to providing benefits through the Yellow Ribbon Provision of the Post 9-11 GI Bill to students in degree-seeking programs. If you qualify for Chapter 33 benefits at the 100 percent level, you may be eligible to receive additional tuition funding through the Yellow Ribbon Program.

Undergraduates

Under this program, Stanford provides an annual award of $3,000 to supplement the Chapter 33 base tuition benefit for undergraduate students (disbursed quarterly). The VA matches Stanford’s Yellow Ribbon contribution, so the student receives a combined total of $6,000 in additional funds.

Graduate Students

Under this program, Stanford provides an annual award to supplement the Chapter 33 base tuition benefit; however, the amount of institutional contribution varies by school and program at the graduate level. Refer to chart below for breakdown by school and program. The VA matches Stanford's contribution.
