Bass Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Diseases

Children inspire us constantly, but never more so than when they’re facing cancer or blood diseases. The Bass Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Diseases, which is nationally ranked by U.S. News & World Report and part of the NCI-designated Stanford Cancer Institute, aims to help children of all ages manage or overcome their conditions. We do this through a combination of exceptional care, groundbreaking research and state-of-the-art treatment. We’re committed to giving every child who comes to us the very best care and a reason to hope.

At the Bass Center, our sole focus is on treating children with cancer and blood diseases such as anemia, hemophilia, and thalassemia, among other conditions. Our pediatric specialists and research scientists are known globally for finding groundbreaking treatments that include investigational drugs and stem cell transplantation. We also offer specialized multidisciplinary clinics where we provide both diagnostic evaluation and treatment for children, adolescents, and young adults with cancers and blood diseases.
