Introducing the Updated Stanford GSB Alumni Site

The redesigned site makes it easier for alumni to stay connected, share passions, and use the school’s career and recruiting services.

Today marks the debut of a new digital home for alumni of Stanford Graduate School of Business.

The goal of the redesign — part of a multiyear effort to enhance Stanford GSB’s online presence — is to make it easier for the school’s 28,000 alumni around the world to stay connected, share their passions, find volunteer opportunities, and take advantage of the school’s career resources and recruiting services.

The pages were created with the help of feedback from thousands of alumni. The result, says Alumni Relations Director Raphe Beck, is a site “that puts alumni at the center.” Besides being easier to read and navigate, the alumni-focused pages are fully integrated with the rest of the Stanford GSB website and can be viewed across a range of devices.

Easier Connections

The online Alumni Network has been simplified and streamlined to enable alumni to connect more readily, both online and in person. Alumni can easily search directories, explore discussion boards, and find affinity groups.

Comprehensive Reunion Information

Alumni can find details about their next reunion, and see highlights from previous gatherings, even between reunion years.

Access to Academic Resources

For the first time, some 900 studies from the school’s case-writing office are available for alumni to download, free of charge. The site also provides convenient links to editorial insights, faculty research, library databases, and more.

Robust Career Support

Alumni who are changing fields, reentering the workforce after a break, or nearing retirement will find an entire section devoted to career and life transitions, with helpful articles, videos, and resources to guide them along the way.

When alumni are actively seeking a new position, they can check out the site’s job board, get tips to update their resumes and LinkedIn profiles, and learn best practices for networking and negotiating.

For those looking to hire, a revamped recruiting section lets them connect with current students, new grads, and fellow alumni.

More Ways to Give Back

Whether alumni are representing themselves or acting on behalf of organizations, the new site makes it easier to support today’s business students by making gifts to Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Alumni who wish to donate their time can find volunteer opportunities that suit their interests.

About the Stanford GSB Alumni Association

The Alumni Association’s mission is to engage and serve Stanford GSB alumni throughout their lives and to advance Stanford GSB in its mission to develop innovative, principled, and insightful leaders who change the world.

The new Stanford GSB alumni website was made possible by alumni who generously donated to the Business School Fund, which annually provides financial support to strengthen the student experience, faculty research, strategic priorities, and alumni engagement initiatives.
