The CIS Annex received a Merit Award from the AIA for its bold re-interpretation of the Stanford palette of stone, arcade and roof.

The California Preservation Foundation awarded the Hanna House Stabilization and Preservation project their coveted Design Award in the year 2000.

The Main Quad Seismic Strengthening Project received the 2001 President's Award from the California Preservation Foundation for outstanding achievement in historical preservation.

R & D Magazine named the James H. Clark Center the 2004 Laboratory of the Year. The building's transparency encourages multidisciplinary interaction that furthers scientific innovation.

The California Senate recognized the partnership between Stanford University and Magic in 2006 for the university's efforts in environmental stewardship of hundreds of native trees.
