Clinical Care
Thoracic Surgery
From video-assisted thoracic surgery to laparoscopic procedures and sleeve lobectomies, our Thoracic Surgery Division has an overriding goal of imparting a cure with the least invasive procedure available. Patients who come to Stanford have surgical options that are not widely available in the community or even at many other academic centers.
Pediatric Cardiac Surgery
The Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Division and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital has assembled a team of doctors, nurses, and other health professionals who are specially trained to diagnose and treat infants, children, and young adults with both congenital and acquired heart disease.
