Continuing Studies

Continuing Studies offers approximately 450 courses annually, attracting more than 15,000 students. The program offers a rich lineup of courses in the liberal arts and sciences, and sponsors robust programs in creative writing as well as professional and personal development. Courses meet on campus in the evening or on a Saturday, and are open to all interested adults. The program also offer a growing number of online courses in the area of creative writing.

SCPD

Graduate and professional degrees and certificate courses are delivered online, at Stanford, at company work sites and international locations—providing a global community of learners with the flexibility and convenience of a Stanford education.

Smili Program

Created Stanford School of Medicine, the Stanford Medicine Interactive Learning Initiatives (SMILI) program is exploring a range of interactive learning strategies with the aim of developing best-practice support for faculty who want to evolve their classes.

Stanford eCorner

Stanford’s Entrepreneurship corner offers 2,000 free videos and podcasts featuring entrepreneurship and innovation thought leaders.

SOHS

The Online High School is a fully accredited, diploma granting, online independent school situated at Stanford University. Serving grades 7-12, the OHS prepares students from around the world for success both in life and in their future intellectual pursuits.

Worldview Stanford

Worldview Stanford creates interdisciplinary learning experiences to prepare leaders for the strategic challenges ahead. These unique programs focus on the dynamics and discoveries that are shaping the future. Our participants—35-40 decision makers from business, government and nonprofits—start online with eight hours of original and curated multimedia content and then come to campus for three-four days to interact with Stanford experts, local innovators, and each other.

Stanford on iTunes U

Over 3,000 Stanford audio and video programs are available on Apple's popular iTunes platform, including course lectures, faculty presentations and campus events. 

YouTube

The Stanford Channel on YouTube is an archive of videos from schools, departments, and programs across the university highlighting faculty lectures and research highlights.
