Whether you are taking a course online or on the Stanford campus, you may be expected to read supplemental course materials, such as case studies. Professional courses delivered online are self-paced and available on-demand during the course access period.  You have the ability to access and review lectures as needed, download and print course materials before viewing a lecture, or review presentation slides as you watch the lecture when applicable. Courses conducted at Stanford often include team projects, as well as work that will need to be completed in the evening for presentation during a subsequent class meeting.  In all cases, the more you take advantage of suggested readings and work, the better the learning experience.
