The Caltrain Pilot Go Pass is a bargain!

Eligible postdocs and graduate students can purchase a Pilot Go Pass for $180

Wouldn’t you like to have unlimited rides on Caltrain for the rest of the year? Hop on board!

Take advantage of a great way to commute and explore the Bay Area. The cost of a Pilot Go Pass is currently $180 -- that's just $30 per month for the remainder of the year. Eligible off-campus graduate students or postdoctoral scholars may purchase the pass at the P&TS office.

Even if you don’t use the Go Pass for your commute, the pass could pay for itself if you ride Caltrain occasionally. Compare the cost of a discounted Go Pass to Caltrain’s regular fares.

Don't miss this opportunity to take unlimited trips to the city, attend sporting and other events, enjoy the theater, shopping, dining, and more. You also can take your bike on Caltrain to reach more destinations.

At the end of summer, the Pilot Go Pass will be sold at a discounted price of $100. It's a great deal for students returning to campus after a summer away and for new postdoctoral scholars and graduate students.

ADDITIONAL SAVINGS WITH THE COMMUTE CLUB

  • If you currently drive alone, you could save thousands of dollars by switching to a Caltrain commute.
  • Those eligible to join the Commute Club could receive up to $300 in a year in Clean Air Cash to help offset the cost of the Go Pass.
  • If you already are a Commute Club member, you could receive a $50 Refer-A-Friend bonus for each eligible commuter you refer to the Commute Club.
