Staff at Stanford work in hundreds of different types of positions, and number approximately 10,000. General employment policies are in Chapter 2 of the Administrative Guide (bargaining unit members should refer to their respective contracts).

Stanford Continuing Studies courses start Most Stanford Continuing Studies courses begin the week of September 21. Visit continuingstudies.stanford.edu to check course availability and enroll. Benefits-eligible staff can use STAP funds; faculty, retirees over 65+ years, and non-STAP eligible staff can receive a 20% discount on tuition. |

Welcome Center Orientation The Welcome Center combines completion of important required start-up steps with an enhanced, full-day orientation session. HR Professionals should enroll new hires by completing required enrollment form and emailing to welcome-to-stanford@stanford.edu.
