Preschool Age Programs

The Brisbane Parks & Recreation department offers a developmentally appropriate program to encourage, support, and develop the whole child.  Preschoolers days are balanced with a variety of enrichment activities including art, imaginative play, recreation, music, stories, and more.  We aspire to enhance self-esteem, encourage independence, foster friendships, and provide a nurturing introduction to school.  Due to the extreme popularity of the program, the Parks & Recreation department will be holds a lottery for the open spaces in the program.  Fall sesssions begin in September and the lottery is generally held sometime in May.  All students participating in the preschool program must be a minimum of three years old as of September 1st and fully potty trained at the start of the program.  Click here to view our May Preschool calendar.  For more information, please contact Steve Beaty at 415-508-2144 or sbeaty@ci.brisbane.ca.us.

School Age Programs

The Brisbane Parks & Recreation department works closely with the Brisbane School District to provide an afterschool program on the Brisbane Elementary School campus.  We primarily serve working families who desire a fun, safe, structured environment where children can learn and grow.  Our play-based approach provides a supportive and nurturing atmosphere and allows us to bridge the gap between home and school.  A daily snack is provided and our staff escorts children to select enrichment programs nearby.  A balance of educational, social, and recreational opportunities are offered which include: homework assistance, arts & crafts, indoor/outdoor games, and more!  Click here for our Afterschool Program Flyer.  For more information, please contact Steve Beaty at 415-508-2144 or sbeaty@ci.brisbane.ca.us.
