The Schools webinars provide helpful information to promote and support healthy school environments, and feature experts from EPA, other federal, and non-federal programs. Upcoming webinar times are generally Eastern Time but may vary.

October 8, 2015, 3-4:00 p.m.: Air Quality and Asthma Solutions: EPA’s Air Quality Flag Program. Learn about the impact of outdoor air quality on human health and specific actions that can be taken on days with poor air quality through participation in EPA’s free Air Quality Flag Program. This webinar is open to any school or organization that is new to the Flag Program or that would like to learn more and expand their program.

This was designed to help school districts adopt a proactive approach to pest control by offering information on Integrated Pest Management. The presentations are geared specifically to the school community - facility managers, buildings and grounds managers and staff, nurses, adminstrators, and IPM coordinators.

A panel of leaders from California, Rhode Island and Utah --states that are taking a close look at the attendance gaps in their communities--will share their insights about implications for action.
August 4, 2015, 2-3:00 p.m.: Energy Savings Plus Health: Indoor Air Quality Guidelines for School Building Upgrades. Please join us on August 4th at 2:00PM EST to learn about how North Penn has used the Indoor Air Quality Guide and its recommendations to strengthen its energy efficiency and IAQ program that has reduced energy use by 35%, annually saved millions of dollars and improved air quality. The webinar will also feature an overview of the guidance and a demonstration of the Energy Savings Plus Health Checklist Generator, tips on taking a proactive approach to saving energy and money, and providing a healthy school indoor environment.
