San José Chief of Police Recruitment

The City of San José is recruiting for a Chief of Police and is interested in receiving community input regarding the ideal qualities that the City Manager should consider in evaluating candidates for this position. Community input meetings have been scheduled at the following locations from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

City Refunding Surplus Special Assessment District Funds to Current and Former Property Owners
The City of San José is refunding approximately $6.9 million in surplus funds from 35 expired special assessment districts in the City. If you or a related entity owned or had an interest in real property in the City anytime between 1974 and 2005, you are strongly encouraged to review the additional information provided below in order to determine whether you are eligible for a refund.
