Urgent Care - Palo Alto

Please go to the Stanford Hospital & Clinics Emergency Department or call 911 if you believe your child has a severe and/or life-threatening emergency.

The After Hours Clinic at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford provides evening and weekend care for children referred by their pediatricians.

Please note this is not a walk-in clinic.

Medical Advice and Appointments

For non-life threatening situations, call your pediatrician first-- at any time, day or night. The answering service will take your information and forward it to a registered nurse (RN).

The registered nurse will call you back to discuss your child’s condition and arrange for a clinic appointment, if necessary.

If you haven’t heard from the nurse within an hour, call your child’s primary care physician again.

Our Services

We can evaluate and treat a wide range of symptoms and conditions, including:

Clinic Appointments

Please make sure you or your child's health care provider calls in advance to schedule an appointment prior to arriving to the clinic.

Follow-up with Your Pediatrician
