Heart Transplant Volume

Our pediatric heart transplant program performed the most transplants on the West Coast during 2014 as well as implanted a high number of mechanical circulatory assist devices, which help patients live longer while waiting for a heart transplant. In addition, Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford is nationally ranked in cardiology and heart surgery by U.S. News & World Report and has been the highest ranked children's hospital in Northern California for a decade.
