Become a Stanford Blood Center Partner!

Partnering with Stanford Blood Center is a great way for your organization to give back to the community and help save lives. It offers prestige, credibility and a connection to helping patients in need in our local community.

The success of our daily work is made possible by the generosity of our dedicated blood donors. But it also depends on generous contributions from invaluable community partnerships through donations including products or services that enhance the donation experience, advertising support and underwriting special events and promotions.

Sharks Foundation

The San Jose Sharks have been giving hockey fans something to cheer about for over twenty years now. But did you know they also give patients in local hospitals a reason to celebrate? That’s because the Sharks Foundation supports blood donation through annual blood drives. We’ve been partnering with the Sharks since 2007, and to date have collected tens of thousands of units of blood with their help. In 2017, Sharks fans once again turned out in full force to support the annual “Save a Life” blood drive at the HP Pavilion in San Jose.

“The Sharks Foundation collects many types of donations during the year, but asking fans to donate their own blood can make an even bigger difference for local patients in need,” said Sharks Foundation Coordinator, Casey Roberts. “We greatly appreciate our amazing partnership with Stanford Blood Center over the past 11 years and are excited to continue this collaboration well into the future.” We’re confident that our partnership with the Sharks Foundation will continue to be a record-breaking success, not only for SBC, but also the patients who benefit from our partnership the most.
