Get ready to Give Good
Next Wednesday, December 18, Stanford Blood Center (SBC) will launch its winter Give Good campaign — designed to double the impact of your blood donation.
To support the needs of patients during the critical summer and winter seasons, SBC created the Give Good campaign in partnership with community organizations. Patients and their families will benefit from blood donations, and others in our community that need support will get help, too. In this way, each donation will go even further.
For the holiday season this winter, we’re pleased to partner with Humane Society Silicon Valley. For each donor who rolls up their sleeve, a donation will be made towards lifesaving vaccines and other medical needs for animals. With your help, patients in the local hospitals we serve will get the blood they require for treatment. Plus, puppies and kittens at the shelter will get the vaccinations they need to be healthy pets. Your donation will have double the impact when you Give Good!
Donate blood at one of our centers or mobiles Wednesday, December 18, through Sunday, January 12, and you’ll receive a collectible tote bag as well as the warm and fuzzy feeling of helping an animal in need.
