Equipment Pool
A booking system is in place for each instrument. To book an instrument please send an e-mail to Ian Hagmann including;
- the dates the instrument is needed,
- whether this is for research, teaching, class project, etc,
- a brief statement of the intended use.
If you are uncertain which instruments would best suite your needs then please get in touch to discuss these options further.
The costs to provide the instruments, and the time of the SFMF Manager if required, are outlined under the Conditions page.
Lab based deployment rates of the instruments would be negotiable.
Instruments required for teaching purposes would be exempt from any fees.
A variety of miscellaneous field equipment not listed here is also available, including shovels, picks, compasses, safety gear, shipping cases, fencing, etc.
