Faculty Input Gathered in Series of Dinners

What is a great way to seek ideas for enhancing neurosciences research at Stanford? Over dinner, of course! Between September and January, eleven groups of faculty gathered around the dinner table to meet each other, share their interests and discuss burning problems in neuroscience that Stanford is well-positioned to tackle. We are aggregating and analyzing the input we captured and will make the information available to the SNI community soon.


Stanford Neurosciences Institute is Launched

The Stanford Neurosciences Institute was launched this fall as a new, campus-wide initiative to tackle the 21st century problem of understanding of the brain, nervous system and behavior.  Right now is the perfect time and Stanford is the perfect place for researchers and scholars in medicine, the basic sciences, engineering, the humanities, education, law and business to collaborate on groundbreaking research that will change our lives.  Learn more about SNI
