The Stanford Neurosciences Institute was launched this fall as a new, campus-wide initiative to tackle the 21st century problem of understanding of the brain, nervous system and behavior. Right now is the perfect time and Stanford is the perfect place for researchers and scholars in medicine, the basic sciences, engineering, the humanities, education, law and business to collaborate on groundbreaking research that will change our lives.
