SHC Patient, Apr 2015
I can not even express adequately how well I was treated, educated, applauded, encouraged, directed, guided and informed. I would have hugged Dr. Morton if it was appropriate. He not only has given me new life, he is always educating me on how to make it better. Is it ok to "love" your surgeon? I love Dr. Morton. He saved my life.
SHC Patient, Apr 2015
I was there for the medical weight-loss program, and right off the bat I was told that "people like me" need surgery. Essentially, I was told that I was a failure. The doctor did not get to know anything about me except the numbers in my chart. I did get him to prescribe the weight-loss program and I will continue to see him because my research, and trust in Stanford, tells me he is a good doctor. Since the program is new, and I am one of the first patients seeking it maybe he is not used to dealing "people LIKE me".
SHC Patient, Mar 2015
