Who can park in electric vehicle spaces?
These spaces are available to the public. However, your electric vehicle must be plugged in to utilize these spaces. Vehicles that are not plugged in and paying will be subject to citation.
Fees and payment
The charging session fee is $2 per hour from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. and $1 per hour at all other times. This fee includes payment for parking as well as charging. The pricing is designed to manage demand for the EV spaces and to encourage multiple short-duration charging sessions per day (for example, campus visitors or commuters who may occasionally need to "top off" their battery, as opposed to an all-day charge for a single vehicle).
Payments are made via the ChargePoint network, which accepts payments via ChargePass Cards and contactless credit cards, or by phone using a standard credit card.
Find other EV charging stations
Additional EV charging stations in the area can be found through ChargePoint’s “Find Stations” page.
There are fast charge stations at nearby Stanford Shopping Center. For details, use the “search” feature at the top of ChargePoint’s “Find Stations” page and search for “Stanford Shopping Center.” Please note that these charging stations are managed by Stanford Shopping Center, not by Stanford University.
