The Division of Pediatric Anesthesia is an internationally recognized center for the delivery of anesthesia, pain management, and critical care services to children at the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford. Committed to advancing the delivery of pediatric anesthetic care, the treatment of acute and chronic pain, and educating the next generation of anesthesiologists, the division’s faculty members actively engage in research into the physiology of anesthesia in children, and the efficacy of new medications for children.
