Our ACGME accredited fellowship is a one year clinical fellowship, sponsored by the hospital. Training covers multiple aspects of sleep medicine including pharmacology of sleep, sleep disordered breathing, insomnia, narcolepsy, pediatric sleep, parasomnias, restless legs syndrome, neuro-degenerative disorders, and orthodontics involving both children and adults. Stanford University Behavioral Sleep Medicine Fellowship Training

The BSM fellowship training program is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and a member of the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral Internship Center (APPIC). Our program mission is to enable trainees to sufficiently fulfill the eligibility requirements for the Behavioral Sleep Medicine Certification exam. The program provides 2,000 hours of supervised Behavioral Sleep Medicine training at the postdoctoral level as part of a full-time clinical track. Training occurs during a 12-month period, although in some circumstances the formal training period is longer than one year. The training site is located within the Stanford Sleep Medicine Center, a well-established, comprehensive, multidiscipline academic sleep disorders clinic accredited by the AASM for Sleep Medicine Fellowship.
